Brief Profile
Dr. Bini George received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam., Kerala. She has been the recipient of Young Scientist Award (Physical Sciences) of the State Committee on Science, Technology & Environment, Govt. of Kerala in 1997.
Prior to joining Department of Chemistry, CUK, she has served as Lecturer, Applied Science Department, St. Francis Institute of Technology (Engg. College), Borivali (W), Bombay, India. She has also gained international industry experience as Chemist, Intertek Caleb Brett (UK) Ltd, Sharjah, U.A.E and as Quality Assurance Representative, Geo-Chem Middle East, Dubai, U.A.E. She has published several research papers and presented papers in national / international conferences and research interests include molecular imprinting, polymer chemistry, nano chemistry and organic synthesis. At present three students are working for Ph.D. under her guidance.
