Dr. Grace Raji R., from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Central University of Kerala, received the prestigious ICMR fellowship under the women scientist program of HRD scheme of the Department of Health Research for pursuing research focusing the functional analysis of host and viral derived micro RNA molecules associated with SARS-CoV-2 mediated endothelial dysfunction and thrombosis. The fellowship comprises financial support of 30 lakhs for a period of 3 years. She will work under the mentorship of Dr. V.B. Sameer Kumar at Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Central University of Kerala. She completed her Ph.D from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Central University of Kerala, under the guidance of Dr. V.B. Sameer Kumar and was working as Guest faculty in the same Department. She hails from Kanhangad and married to Sreekumar A., Jr. Health Inspector, at District Covid Control Cell.
