APS to NCST Chairperson to visit CUK
Periye: As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a seminar and exhibition on Tribal Heroes in India's Freedom Struggle will be organized at the Central University of Kerala under the auspices of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST). Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu will inaugurate the exhibition on 21st October 2022 at 10.15 am at Sabarmati. The exhibition will introduce tribal leaders who played a major role in the freedom struggle.
The program is being organized in collaboration with Akhil Bharatiya Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram. The seminar will start at 10.30 am in Sabarmati Hall. Abhinav Prakash, Assistant Private Secretary to NCST Chairperson will be the Chief Guest. Akhil Bharatiya Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram All India Joint Organizing Secretary Sandeep Kaviswar will deliver the keynote address.
Vice Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu, Registrar Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Vanavasi Vikasa Kendra State Organizing Secretary A. Narayanan and others will speak. NCST organises seminars and exhibitions across the country to bring the freedom struggle of the tribal community to the attention of the nation and impart it to the new generation.
