A three-day workshop on State Curriculum Framework 2022 in tune with New National Education Policy started at the Central University of Kerala. The programme is being organised jointly by the Department of Education, State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) and DIET Kannur. Inaugurating the event, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu said that the role of parents is huge in identifying the aptitude of children and guiding them in the right fields. Dean Academic Prof. Amruth G Kumar presided over the inaugural programme. SCERT Director Dr. Jayaprakash R.K, Expert Group Vice Chairperson Dr. Asha Prabhakaran and DIET Kannur Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar spoke during the event. Head, Department of Education Prof. M.N. Musthafa welcomed and SCERT Research Officer Dr. Sudarshan delivered the vote of thanks. As part of the workshop, there will be interaction with teachers, students and parents. The draft document will be prepared on the basis of this and public discussion. The workshop will conclude on November 2.
