The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), Women’s Cell & Centre for Women's Studies jointly observed the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November). A series of events and competitions were organized as 16 Days of Activism against Gender based Violence from 25 November 2022 to 10 December 2022 which will end on the Human Rights day (10 December 2022) with a Valedictory ceremony.

In continuation of this commemoration, a procession and a street play is organized in collaboration with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Extension Service & the National Service Scheme (NSS) on 08 December 2022 (Thursday). The procession will be flagged off by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu from the Vivekananda Circle at 3.30PM. The procession will march to the Periye town where our students will perform street play on the theme of Gender based violence. Concluding remarks will be delivered by Smt. Shali VJ, Civil Police Officer, Rajapuram Police Station.
