CUK Gears Up for Gyanotsavam: Governor Arif Muhammed Khan, Minister of State for Education Annpurna Devi to attend the programme

Periya, Kerala: In a bid to revolutionize the education sector in Kerala in accordance with the new National Education Policy, the Central University of Kerala is all set to host Gyanotsavam 2023. The three-day event, scheduled to commence on the 6th of July, will witness the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and Minister of State for Education Annpurna Devi. Aimed at promoting a self-reliant India through education, the program is being organized by the Department of Education and Vidyabhyasa Vikasa Kendram.

The highlight of Gyanotsavam is the exhibition and discussion of innovative educational ideas. Approximately fifty selected schools, teacher training institutes, and higher education institutions will participate, showcasing their successfully implemented models in five key areas: holistic development of students, environmental activism, Indian knowledge system and language, vocational skills, and comprehensive evaluation.

The educational conclave and exhibition, which are integral parts of Gyanotsavam, will commence with the inauguration by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan at 11 am on the 6th of July, followed by Union Minister of State for Education Annpurna Devi at 9:30 am on the 7th of July. The event will be presided over by CUK Vice Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu. Distinguished guests including AICTE Vice Chairman Dr. Abhay Jere, UGC Joint Secretary Dr. Rajesh Kumar Verma, NIT Kozhikode Director Prof. Prasad Krishna, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Chakrawal, Gujarat Sahitya Academy Registrar Dr. Jayendrasingh Jadav, Cochin Shipyard Chairman Madhu S Nair, Kerala University of Health Sciences Vice Chancellor Mohanan Kunnummal, Santhosh George Kulangara and other eminent personalities from the education sector will participate in various sessions.
