Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan emphasized the potential of India's new National Education Policy to propel the country into becoming a center of knowledge. Speaking at the inauguration of an Education Conclave as part of Gyanotsav 2023, jointly organized by the Education Department and Vidyabhyasa Vikasa Kendram, the Governor highlighted the dynamic changes the policy brings, aimed at benefiting the nation and expanding student opportunities. The policy's comprehensive vision also enables students to choose subjects based on their interests.
Presiding over the event, Vice Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu highlighted the university's efforts to implement the New National Education Policy. Distinguished speakers, including AICTE Vice Chairman Dr. Abhay Jere, Calicut NIT Director Prof. Prasad Krishna, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan Deputy Commissioner N. Santosh Kumar, and National Monitoring Committee of SC/ST/Minority Education Member A. Vinod shared their insights. Prof. Amruth G Kumar delivered the welcome address and Dr. N.C. Induchoodan proposed vote of thanks.
