Gyanotsav 2023, a transformative event aimed at revolutionizing the education sector in Kerala, concluded on a high note at the Central University of Kerala. The conference marked its end observing that the vision of transformation envisaged by NEP 2020 will accelerate the transformation of Kerala, India, and the whole world to a more better and progressive society. The conference declared that for the realisation of NEP 2020, the participants will take part in all necessary activities for the holistic development of students, and, thereby, leading to a better society. "Our institutions will take up all necessary initiatives to equip our youth with knowledge, skills, attitudes, and life values," the conference declared.Gyanotsav 2023 was jointly organized by the Education Department and Vidyabhyasa Vikasa Kendram. The concluding day of the conference witnessed the inauguration of the higher education conference by Prof. Mohanan Kunnummal, Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences. Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu, Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Kerala, presided over the conference. The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Alok Kumar Chakrawal, Vice Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas University. The conference also featured insightful speeches by notable personalities such as Prof. C.G. Nandakumar from CUSAT and A. Vinod, Member of National Monitoring Committee of SC/ST/Minority Education.In the closing session, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Verma, Joint Secretary of the University Grants Commission (UGC), delivered a thought-provoking keynote address. The session provided a fitting conclusion to Gyanotsav 2023, leaving attendees inspired and motivated to actively participate in the realization of the National Education Policy's vision.
