The Association of Students in Computational Intelligence(ASCI), of the Department of Computer Science, Central University of Kerala, conducted an outreach program at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Periya, on 09/08/2023. The MSc computer science students from the computer science department have engaged the class on various topics; Internet of Things(IoT), Artificial Intelligence(AI), Python Programming, Dark Web, Web Designing, Cloud Computing, and Cyber Security. The core idea of the program is to make it clear to the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya that Computer science is not only about programming or coding. It is a mindset, a way of thinking, analyzing problems, designing solutions, and creating innovations. Through this program, they/we wish to fill the gap between the computer science reality and the curiosity of young students. Through this outreach program, they/we inspired the students to think critically and explore the challenges and endless possibilities that computer science offers. The 10th, +1, and +2 class students from Navodaya have participated in this program.
