In a bid to further promote Hindi as an official language to students and teachers, the Central University of Kerala introduced an innovative scheme named Samvad Path'. The aim of the project, jointly implemented by the Department of Hindi and Comparative Literature, and the Hindi Cell, is to create a friendly environment for learning Hindi. As part of this, programmes will be organized in various departments. The programme was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K.C. Baiju. Teachers and students of the Management Studies, Tourism Studies and Yoga Studies were present during the programme. There was a poetry presentation, lecture and discussion on the topic of 'love and Hindi'. Head of the Department of Hindi and Comparative Literature Prof. Manu presided. Head of the Department of Management Studies Dr. Arvind R. Gajakosh, Head of the Department of Tourism Studies Dr. Binoy T.A, Assistant Professor Dr. Anjaladevi, and Hindi Officer Dr. T.K. Anish Kumar also spoke. Hindi Department Professor Dr. Tharu S. Pawar delivered the welcome address and Assistant Professor Dr. Seema Chandran proposed vote of thanks.

केरल केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय के हिन्दी विभाग और हिन्दी प्रकोष्ठ दोनों के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में विद्यार्थियों और अध्यपकों के लिए आयोजित संवाद कार्यक्रम, ‘हिन्दी पथ’ का उद्घाटन माननीय प्रभारी कुलपति प्रो. के. सी. बैजु द्वारा किया गया । उन्हों ने अपने उद्घाटन भाषण के दौरान कहा कि सरकार की राजभाषा नीति को कार्यान्वित करना विश्वविद्यालय का कर्तव्य है । हिन्दी भाषा का ज्ञान होना  बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात है और देश के विभिन्न भाषा-भाषी व विभिन्न संस्कृति के लोगों को आपस में मिलानेवाला एक सशक्त माध्यम है हिन्दी, उन्होंने जोडा ।   प्रो. तारु एस. पवार ने स्वागत भाषण दिया । हिन्दी विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. मनु कार्यक्रम में अध्यक्षीय भाषण दिया । प्रबंधन अध्ययन विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. अरविंद आर. गजखोष, पर्यटन अध्ययन विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. बिनोय टी.ए, योग विभाग के सहायक आचार्य डॉ.अंजला देवी और हिन्दी अधिकारी डॉ. अनीश कुमार.टी.के उद्घाटन समारोह में आशिर्वचन प्रस्तुत किया । कार्यक्रम संयोजिका डॉ. सीमा चंद्रन ने कृतज्ञता ज्ञापित की ।

उद्घाटन समारोह के बाद ‘प्रेम और हिन्दी’ विषय पर आयोजित संवाद सत्र में विद्यार्थियों ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया । उन्हों ने अपनी कविताएँ प्रस्तुत कीं और अपने – अपने दृष्टिकोण को ले कर संवाद में भी भाग लिया । उद्घाटन दिवस में योग विभाग, प्रबंधन अध्ययन विभाग और पर्यटन विभाग के विद्यार्थियों के लिए संवाद कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया । यह कार्यक्रम आनेवाले दिनों में विश्वविद्यालय के सभी विभागों में आयोजित किया जाएगा । औपचारिकता पर सीमित न रहते हुए स्वतंत्र रूप से हिन्दी में बातें करने के लिए अवसर देते हुए परिसर में हिन्दी भाषा के लिए एक मैत्रीपूर्ण वातावरण प्रस्तुत करना इस कार्यक्रम का लक्ष्य है ।
