As part of understanding the education system in India and interacting with academics, a group of International students and Professors from Lewis & Clark College, Portland, US visited the Central University of Kerala. The team including Prof. Kaley Mason, Prof. Shivani Joshi, and 12 Liberal Arts students reached the Periye campus on Monday. The International Relations and Politics Department of CUK and the American Institute of Indian Studies hosted them as part of the student exchange programme. The group was welcomed by the Head of the Department Prof. R. Suresh, Assistant Professor Dr. Reinhart Philip, and students. The team visited various departments and got a first-hand understanding of the university's operations. "The visit was a great experience," said Prof. Kaley Mason and Prof. Shivani Joshi. "We interacted with students from different states in India and got a general picture of the country," they added. The team will remain at the university till Wednesday.
