A folklore workshop, collaboratively organized by the Malayalam Department of the Central University of Kerala and the Multilingual Study Centre of the Kannur University, started at the Central University of Kerala. In an event, held at Sabarmati Hall, Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K.C. Baiju inaugurated the workshop. Dr. A.M. Sreedharan presided over the programme, and Prof. Raghavan Payyanad delivered the keynote address on "Folklore and Folklore Studies: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow." Head, Department of Malayalam, Dr. R. Chandrabose, Prof. V. Rajeev, Anaswara S, and others participated in the event. The workshop is set to conclude on 23rd November 2023.
