New batch of Life Skills Education at Central University of Kerala begins
In the modern era, it is the mastery of skills that define the space of youth, said the Central University of Kerala Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K.C. Baiju. He was speaking at the inauguration of the new batch of PG Diploma in Life Skills Education at E Sreedharan Centre for Life Skills Education. In today's job market, where skills significantly impact success, inclusive approaches are necessary, and skills need to be acquired alongside educational qualifications, he added. Registrar Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Controller of Examinations Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Dean Academic Prof. Amruth G. Kumar, E Sreedharan Centre for Life Skills Education Director Prof. M.N. Musthafa, Joint Director Dr. K. Thiyagu also addressed the gathering.
In the third batch, a hundred candidates from various districts and states like Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan got admission. They include teachers, lawyers, doctors, public servants, retired officers, housewives, and others working in various fields, with a degree as the basic qualification. The course will consist of online and face-to-face classes. The E Sreedharan Centre for Life Skills Education conducts training for NCC cadets, school coordinators, and others.
