Central University of Kerala Achieves Remarkable Success at Inter-University South Zone Youth Festival
The Central University of Kerala achieved a notable distinction, securing the fourth position at the 37th Inter-University South Zone Youth Festival hosted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The festival, featuring participation from 29 universities across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, showcased the university's outstanding talent. With noteworthy victories, including 1st place in One Act Play, Skit, and Spot Photography, 2nd place in elocution and 3rd place in Western Group Song, and Western Instrumental Solo, the university's students excelled in various categories. A total of 41 students represented the university, accompanied by faculty members Dr. K. Thiyagu and Dr. Geetha from the Education Department. Congratulating the team, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (I/c) Prof. K.C. Baiju said that it was a moment of pride for the university. Prof. Baiju emphasised that the students' achievements have not only enhanced the university's reputation but also served as an inspiration for future endeavours. Dignitaries including Registrar Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, and Dean of Student Welfare Prof. Muthukumar Muthuchamy spoke during the event.
