Central University of Kerala to host International Conference on Environmental Mutagenesis: Impact on Biodiversity and Human Health in a Changing World
The Central University of Kerala is set to host the 46th Annual Meeting of the Environmental Mutagen Society of India (EMSI) and the International Conference on 'Environmental Mutagenesis: Impact on Biodiversity and Human Health in a Changing World' from January 29 to 31, 2024. The conference, organized by the Department of Zoology, aims to provide a platform for in-depth discussions on the complex interplay between environmental mutagenesis, biodiversity, and human health in a dynamically changing world. International delegates from more than 13 countries, including Germany, Portugal, Australia, USA, Japan, Austria, Italy, and Singapore, will bring together diverse perspectives to explore the intricate realms of environmental mutagenesis. A diverse gathering representing various institutions will foster a collaborative atmosphere in the pursuit of understanding the challenges posed by environmental mutagenesis. A pre-conference workshop on 'Methods in Genotoxicology' is scheduled for January 28, 2024, offering participants a specialized platform to delve into advanced techniques in the field.
