Republic Day celebrated at the Central University of Kerala

Republic Day was celebrated at the Central University of Kerala with various programmes. In the programme held in front of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Bhavan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (I/c) Prof.  K.C.  Baiju hoisted the flag and delivered the Republic Day message.  He said that liberty, equality and justice are the very life breath of the Indian Constitution.  Democracy and unity in diversity are values that should always be followed. The country's pluralism and secularism should be upheld. This is the responsibility of every citizen. Otherwise, the hard-won freedom will have no meaning. Registrar Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Dean of Student Welfare Prof. Muthukumar Muthuchamy, Prof. K. Arunkumar, Deans, Heads of Departments, Faculty Members, Staff, and Students attended the event. The programme concluded with colourful cultural programme conducted by the students. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Registrar also planted saplings as part of the Republic Day celebrations.
