‘Urja 2024’; School of Global Studies Emerges Champion

The Central University of Kerala's Annual Athletic Meet ‘Urja 2024’ concluded with the School of Global Studies clinching the overall championship, while the School of Education secured the runner-up position. In the individual category, Mr. Siva Sundar (Environmental Science) and Ms. Athira E.K. (Education) claimed the male and female championships, respectively. Dr. E. Prasad and Dr. Manju, who are among the faculty members and Mr. Rathinkumar and Mrs. Veena Vijayan, who belong to the non-teaching category, secured individual championships. Registrar Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar presented the awards. Dean Academic Prof. Amruth G. Kumar, Physical Education Consultant Dr. Melath Chandrashekaran Nair, Student Council President A. Sreehari and Sports Secretary Naveen Krishnan addressed the gathering.
