NSS National Integration Camp Commences at the Central University of Kerala

With the spirit of unity and cultural diversity, the National Integration Camp of the National Service Scheme (NSS) was inaugurated at the Central University of Kerala. Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Registrar of the university, graced the occasion with the inaugural ceremony. Prof. K. Arunkumar, Executive Council Member of CUK, Shijin Parambath, Managing Director of Bekal Resorts Development Corporation Limited, B. Kannan, Regional Assistant Manager of Bank of Baroda, Dr. Anzer R.N, State NSS Officer, P.N. Santhosh, NSS Regional Director and Dr. S. Anbazhagi, Camp Coordinator were also present.

Organized jointly by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Regional Directorate of NSS Kerala - Lakshadweep, and NSS Cell of the Central University of Kerala, the seven-day camp has drawn participants from various states including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, and Pondicherry.

The commencement of the camp was marked by a vibrant procession within the campus, reflecting the enthusiasm and camaraderie among the participants. Cultural performances representing different states added to the festive atmosphere
