The Department of Plant Science, Central University of Kerala organised a Two-day workshop on 'Marine Macroalgae laboratory cultivation and downstream processing' on 22nd & 23rd March 2024. Prof. K.C. Baiju, the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor (i/c) inaugurated the workshop. Prof. Vincent Mathew, Dean, School of Physical Sciences, presided over the function. Prof. Annamalai Muthusamy,  Head, Department of Plant Science, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, delivered the keynote address. Prof. Dennis Thomas, Head, Department of Plant Science, CUK delivered the welcome address, and Prof. K. Arunkumar, Organising Secretary and Dean, School of Biological Science proposed vote of thanks.
