National Workshop on Design and Development of Digital Library with Dspace; Challenges and Prospects 

The University Library conducted a two-day National Workshop on Design and Development of Digital Library with Dspace; Challenges and Prospects on 03 & 04 July 2024. The workshop aimed to spread awareness about open-source software and its proper use in library services. It provided detailed knowledge about the most widely used OSS in the library field, offering advanced-level hands-on training to the participants. 

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (i/c), Prof. T. Dennis Thomas delivered the inaugural address. Dr. D.B. Tripathi, Deputy Librarian, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, explained the workshop theme in his keynote address. 

Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Controller of Examinations spoke on the occasion. Dr. Senthil Kumaran, Deputy Librarian, delivered the welcome address and Mrs. K.V. Sruthi, Information Scientist, proposed vote of thanks. Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Registrar, inaugurated the valedictory programme. Mrs. Ammaji Rajitha, Assistant Librarian proposed vote of thanks.
