The Central University of Kerala (CUK) commemorated Premchand Jayanti with a national seminar organised by the Department of Hindi and Comparative Literature. The event, held to honour the legacy of the legendary writer, was inaugurated by Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Registrar of CUK. The seminar was presided over by Prof. Manu, Head of the Department of Hindi and Comparative Literature. The event featured Prof. Shridhar Hegde from Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa College, Madikeri, as the chief guest, who provided valuable insights into Premchand's literary contributions. Other notable speakers included Dr. Sreekanth N.M., Assistant Professor at Payyannur College, Dr. Anish Kumar T.K., Hindi Officer, and Dr. Ram Binod Ray, Assistant Professor at CUK. The program began with a warm welcome from Prof. Tharu S. Pawar and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Dharmendra Pratap Singh.
