The Central University of Kerala, Capital Centre, conducted Teachers' Day celebration and Induction programme on 5th September 2024 at the seminar hall of the Capital Centre campus. The event was chaired by Director Sivakumar M.V. and was marked by an engaging and informative session with former IFS officer T.P. Sreenivasan, who was the guest of honour for the day.

In his interactive session with the students, Mr. Sreenivasan delved into the importance of maintaining peaceful relations with neighbouring countries and the global community. He shed light on significant international treaties, including the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), explaining India’s historical stance on these matters. He also emphasized the role of think tanks in shaping policy in International Relations and discussed the priorities of the current central government with regard to diplomacy.
