Central University of Kerala Launches Year-Long Celebration of Indian Constitution's 75th Anniversary


The Central University of Kerala has launched a year-long series of events to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution. Organized under the leadership of 'Vox Populi,' the academic club of the Department of Public Administration and Policy Studies, the celebrations were inaugurated by Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. Vincent Mathew.

The Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Prof. M.R. Biju, presided over the inaugural function. Head of the Department, Dr. G. Durga Rao, Dr. Devi Parvathy, Dr. B.S. Ashalekshmi, Vishnu Prasad, and Devipriya also addressed the gathering.

The event included the ceremonial reading of the Constitution’s preamble and the organization of an exhibition highlighting the history and significance of the Constitution. Various competitions for students are scheduled in the coming days as part of the celebrations.
