As part of the Mathematics Day celebration, the Department of Mathematics at the Central University of Kerala organized quiz and Sudoku competitions for school students. The event saw enthusiastic participation from high school and higher secondary students from various schools across the Kasaragod district.

Shreya Sabin and Shrodha S. Nair from Christ CMI Public School emerged as winners in the high school category. In the higher secondary category, Anand K. Aravind and Thanmaya Melath from GHSS Balla East secured the top positions, while Hardhik from PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya won first prize in Sudoku.

The Vice Chancellor (i/c), Prof. Vincent Mathew, graced the prize distribution ceremony, congratulating the winners and encouraging all participants to nurture their passion for mathematics. Dr. P. Shaini, Head of the Department of Mathematics, Prof. A. Saktivel, Dean of the School of Physical Sciences, and student Nikhil Ravi also addressed the gathering.
