The Department of Social Work at the Central University of Kerala organized a two-day workshop on Social Entrepreneurship, focusing on building socially committed and socially driven businesses to promote societal well-being and sustainability.

Dr. Alagu Manikavelu, Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, inaugurated the workshop. Dr. Nagalingam M., Programme Coordinator and Head of the Department, presided over the event. Mr. Kunjabdullah U.K., Managing Director and CEO of Mahyoobah Eco Solutions, was the guest of honour. Mr. Rifad P.C., Manager of MESPL, delivered the felicitation address.

The sessions were led by eminent experts, including Mr. V.S. Sukumaran, former faculty at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India; Dr. K. Panchaksharam, Founder and Secretary of SIPA FAIRTRADE; and Mr. Sayyid Sawad, Co-founder of 1Trepenuer. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony attended by Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. Vincent Mathew. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mr. Adhil Mohammed KAS from the Industries and Commerce Department.
