The Department of Management Studies at the Central University of Kerala organized a National Level Symposium on Sustainable Entrepreneurship at the CUK Campus. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Vincent Mathew, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (i/c) of the University, and presided over by Prof. Saji T. G., Dean of the School of Business Studies.
The symposium featured keynote addresses by Prof. Dr. Kumar Chandar S. from Christ University, Bengaluru, and Dr. Preethi M. from NIT Kozhikode. Prof. Kumar Chandar S. provided insights into India's evolving sustainability landscape, emphasizing the importance of integrating eco-friendly practices into development policies. Dr. Preethi M. highlighted the significance of incubation initiatives and student entrepreneurship in fostering sustainable business models.
The interactive session facilitated engaging discussions on strategies to promote sustainable entrepreneurship, with students and faculty actively participating. Dr. Arvind R. Gajakosh, Head of the Department of Management Studies, delivered the welcome address, and Rajitna Balakrishnan, Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.
