NSS UNIT-2, CUK conducted an online Speech Competition titled ‘Malala in You' as part of Malala Day Celebration on 11th July, 2021 from 11am to 1:15 pm. The competition was open to all students of University. The theme of the event upholded the need to stand for women and children rights and equal access to education.
Dr. Senthil Kumaran Periaswamy (Deputy Librarian, CUK), Prof. Dr. N.R Suresh Babu ( Department of Sociology and Population Studies, Bharatiyar university), Dr. Prasad E. Nair (Asst.Prof Department of Physics, CUK), Dr. Ashitha Varghese ( Asst. Prof, Department of English and Foreign languages, Bharatiyar University) were the judges. Dr. Ranjith Kummavath, NSS Coordinator motivated the students with a note of Malala's life. Dr. S Anbazhagi ( NSS Unit 2 – Programme Officer) delivered the welcome address.
Various cultural talents were exhibited by the students. The winners of the competition were
