Department of Hindi & Comparative Literature, CUK has organized a YOGA SESSION AS HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON LIFE SKILLS on behalf of Department of Hindi & Comparative Literature Hindi Parishad (STUDENTS FORUM) & Alumni Association on the topic “बेहतर एवं स्वस्थ जीवन शैली हेतु, योग” (Yoga for Good & Healthy Life).
Dr. Vrinda Madhavan, Faculty, Department of Yoga, handled session as resource person cum trainer for current batch PG, PhD & Alumni Students. Dr. Vrinda, demonstrated Yoga for good and healthy life ahead with the help of her student from the Yoga Department. Prof. K.P. Suresh, Dean, Academics inaugurated the programme and gave suggestions how yog vidya helps to improve our life Skills. Prof. Sudha Balakrishnan, Professor, Department of Hindi & Comparative Literature encouraged the department by felicitating the programme. Dr. Joseph Koyipally, Director, Alumni Association of the University, CUK felicitated the function and made students understand the importance of Life Skills to be developed and the importance of discipline and Yoga in their life’s. Dr. Taru S Pawar, Head of the Department gave warm welcome to all the dignitaries and gave a short understanding of Yoga for students. The whole programme was moderated & Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Seema Chandran, Assistant Professor & Department Alumni (SAFARNAMA) & Students forum (HINDI PARISHAD) Coordinator.
