NSS Cell of Central University of Kerala in association with Department of Environmental Science conducted a webinar titled ‘Time Management, What? Why? and How?’ for students of Environmental Science and NSS volunteers. Prof. Dr. V. Reghu (Director, Sremik Vidhyapeeth, Retd. Professor, University of Kerala, RGNIYD, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India) addressed the students with the main objective to enhance the awareness level in time management and identifying the strengths and limitations in the area.
Prof. Dr. Reghu breaked the ice by quoting the 10% brain myth. He spoke about the importance of prioritizing tasks according to need and importance. Students were engaged in a thought provoking activity to realise how they utilise their time. The resource person gave suggestions to invest time in an efficient way so as to become a successful socially responsible healthy individual. The session had excellent feedback from the participants.
Dr. Muthukumar Muthuchamy (Dean, School of Earth Science System) delivered the welcome address. Dr. Ranjith Kumath (NSS Coordinator) spoke about the need for time management in daily life. Dr. S. Anbazhagi (Programme Officer, NSS Unit 2) gave a brief account about the webinar and introduced the resource person. Mr. Navaneeth (Volunteer Secretary NSS Unit 2) delivered the Vote of Thanks.
