Educating and paving the way for getting educated are  great social services.

With the construction of the ''A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial Library'' at Velutholi tribal colony, by NSS Unit-03,Central University of Kerala,this great social responsibility has been fulfilled.  Velutholi Tribal colony belongs to Pallikkara Panchayath of Kasargod district,a place that is in high demand for progressive activities.

Pallikkara Panchayat Ward Member  Ms. Leena Raghavan  presided over the official inauguration of the library.  Shri. M. Kumaran,Pallikkara Panchayat President,inaugurated the function . 

N.S.S. Program Officer Dr. Seema Chandran, Unit President Mr. Sanath Mavila, Librarian Mr. Sreejith Velutholi, and Pallikkara Panchayat Development Standing Committee Chairman Mr. Sooraj Koottakani felicitated the ceremony. Volunteers Nishad.V.P, Madhuraj.K, Sankeerth V.V, Shruti Mohan, Ashwathy .M.V were also present.

Reading nurtures our thought and serves us to become better social beings. Therefore, we hope that this library will serve the better future of a new generation. Let it shed light on social and cultural progress of the region.

എ.പി. ജെ. അബ്ദുൾ കലാം സ്മാരക ഗ്രന്ഥാലയം  നിർമിച്ചതോടു കൂടി  ആ മഹത്തായ സാമൂഹിക ഉത്തരവാദിത്വവും പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. പള്ളിക്കര പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ  വാർഡ് മെമ്പർ  ശ്രീമതി ലീന രാഘവന്റെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ പള്ളിക്കര പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌  ശ്രീ എം. കുമാരൻ ചടങ്ങിന്റെ ഔപചാരിക ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ചു. ചടങ്ങിൽ പ
