CUK completes vaccination of teachers and staff


Vaccination of teachers, permanent and temporary staff has been completed at the Central University of Kerala. The majority of research students received the vaccine. So far, 800 doses of the vaccine have been given at the university. A total of 152 people were vaccinated in the fourth phase of vaccination on Thursday and Friday. The next step is to give the second dose of the vaccine to postgraduate students. Vaccination is provided in collaboration with the District Health Department as part of strengthening the Covid-19 preventive measures.

The vaccination drive was organized by the Health and Services Center of the University in collaboration with the IT Department and the Security Wing. Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu and Registrar Dr. N. Santosh Kumar visited the vaccination center. Medical Officers Dr. Arathi R. Nair, Dr. A.S. Kannan, Nursing Officer E. Divya, Security Officer V. Sreejith, Medical Attendant Sajeesh, Pharmacist M. Jitesh, A. Rathin Kumar, K. Vivekanandan, K.K. Sarath and Praveen Krishnan led the way.
