Centre for Women's Studies: Cyber Security Training Programme


The Centre for Women's Studies is hosting a Cyber Security Training Programme as part of the 'We Think Digital' Initiative of the National Commission for Women, partnered with Facebook, CyberPeace Foundation and Autobot Infosec on 28th & 29th October 2021. The primary objective is to create an inclusive and safe cyber ecosystem where women are empowered and not fearful of technology or the internet. The training programme aims to promote digital literacy among students and raise awareness about cybercrimes and ways to tackle them.  

There are three Sessions in two days. They are : Session 1 - Data Privacy and Social Media Safety, Session 2 - Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Redressal, Session 3 - Cyber Ethics and Digital Well being.  Prof. K Arun Kumar, Dean Students welfare will inaugurate the training programme.
