The Central University of Kerala has started Vigilance awareness week on the campus. The week is being observed with the theme of ‘Independent India@75:Self-Reliance with Integrity’, as mandated by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu inaugurated one 1-week long programme by administering the integrity pledge. Assembled in front of the Administrative Block, teachers and staff took the integrity pledge in the prescribed format. Registrar Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar and Controller of Examinations Dr.M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Chief Vigilance Officer Prof. Muthukumar Muthuchamy, Deans and Heads of Departments participated in the event.
Teachers and staff in various departments took a pledge against corruption. Various events will be held in the coming days in connection with the week.
