The 13th Foundation Day celebration of the Central University of Kerala was held at Periye Campus. National Education Policy Committee Member Prof. M.K. Sreedhar delivered the Foundation Day lecture. Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu inaugurated the function. Registrar Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar and Dean Academic Prof. Amrut G Kumar spoke. There was also a lecture by Nobel laureate Prof. David J. Wineland. Cultural activities were also conducted as part of the event.
