CUK Athletic Meet concludes

Periye: The Annual Athletic Meet 'URJA 2022' of the Central University of Kerala concluded. In the series of events held during the meet, the School of Languages won the overall championship. School of Physical Sciences came as the runner-up.  

Mohammed Shahbaaz (School of Biological Science) and Sujesh H.K. (School of Physical Sciences) won the individual championships in the men's category whereas, in the female category, Rachana Ramkumar (School of Business studies) bagged the individual championship.

From the teaching staff, Dr. E. Prasad and Dr. Shaini P. won the individual championship in the male and female categories respectively. Mr. Rathin Kumar and Mrs. Divya E were selected as individual champions in male and female categories in the non-teaching category.  

In the concluding ceremony, Dean, Student Welfare Prof. K. Arun Kumar delivered the welcome speech. Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu distributed the prizes to the winners. Jawahar Navodaya Principal K.M. Vijayakrishnan spoke on the occasion. Physical Education Instructor Dr. Meloth Chandrashekharan Nair was also present during the programme. Physical Education Consultant Prof. P.T. Jospeph delivered the vote of thanks.
